In no case can the user utilize this machine to transfer cryptocurrency to any third party. Byte Federal is not responsible for any transmission to or from any party other than you the user and Byte Federal. Transactions Disclosures

Please take a moment to review our disclosures as part of state, federal, or international regulatory requirements.

  1. Virtual currency is not legal tender in the United States, is not backed by the United States government, and accounts and value balances with your wallet provider are not subject to Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or Securities Investor Protection Corporation protections.
  2. Legislative and regulatory changes or actions at the state, federal, or international level may adversely affect the value of virtual currency.
  3. Transaction in virtual currency may be irreversible, and accordingly, losses due to fraudulent or accidental transactions may not be recoverable.
  4. Some virtual currency transactions may be immediately effective when recorded on a public ledger, which is not necessarily the date or time that the user initiates the transaction.
  5. The value of virtual currency may be derived from the continued willingness of market participants to exchange legal tender for virtual currency, which may result in the potential for permanent and total loss of value of a particular virtual currency if the market for the virtual currency declines or collapses for an extended period of time.
  6. Any surety bond required by regulation for the benefit of users may not be sufficient to cover all losses incurred by the user(s).
  7. Users should perform research before purchasing or investing in virtual currency.
  8. We may share information with trusted and contracted third-party service providers (including those that may be located outside of the United States), who help us operate our platform and systems, and detect fraud and security threats throughout the normal course of our business. Such third-party service providers are subject to strict confidentiality obligations.

  1. The user's liability for unauthorized virtual currency transactions.
    1. By utilizing this kiosk service, you are stating that you are at least 18 years of age and that any and all transactions are being received by or sent to a wallet that is under your control and not for the benefit of anyone other than yourself. In no case can the user utilize this machine to transfer cryptocurrency to any third party. Byte Federal is not responsible for any transmission to or from any party other than you the user and Byte Federal.
  2. The user's right to stop payment of a preauthorized virtual currency transfer and the procedure to initiate the stop payment order.
    1. If you require a stop payment of a preauthorized virtual currency transfer, please contact our support staff immediately at 786-686-2983. BE ADVISED - Once a transaction is confirmed on the Blockchain (as per public blockchain explorer blockchain.com) we can not offer you any further support.
  3. Under what circumstances the licensee will, absent a court or government order, disclose information concerning the user's account to third parties.
    1. We may share information with trusted and contracted third-party service providers (including those that may be located outside of the United States), who help us operate our platform and systems, and detect fraud and security threats throughout the normal course of our business. Such third-party service providers are subject to strict confidentiality obligations.
  4. The user's right to receive periodic account statements and valuations from the licensee.

  5. The user's right to receive a receipt, trade ticket, or other evidence of a transaction.
    1. Each user has the right to receive a receipt as evidence of a transaction. Please take note of your notification preferences to determine whether you will receive an email or text receipt.

Minnesota customers

Fraudulent Transaction Disclosures

  1. For new customers in Minnesota, if you have been fraudulently induced to engage in the virtual currency transaction, you may be able to receive a refund. The refund amount will be based on the amount inserted into the kiosk, less processing fees.
  2. In order to receive a refund, a new customer must:
    1. Have been fraudulently induced to engage in the virtual currency transactions; and
    2. Within 14 days of the last transaction to occur during the 72-hour new customer time period, contact the virtual currency kiosk operator and a government or law enforcement agency to inform them of the fraudulent nature of the transaction.
